My ineptitude let me show you it!

So, I hung my show last night! It took 3/3.5 hours and was tiring, I broke one of my glass sheets(the very last one I was hanging of course) but thankfully helpful installer was helpful and went 'eh, I can probably cut you a new one right now' when I asked who I needed to submit the order to. And then he did!

I also cut myself handling the glass several times!






They are now band aid covered again because I have class at one and paint in cuts is not a Good Thing. My hands look hilarious. This is right up there with last semester when I was trimming book board by hand on 3 hours of sleep with a razor blade and not only stabbed myself but bleed on my book cover. (hilariously, the cover was deconstructed and stained on purpose so the dot of blood looked intentional and you couldn't tell it was blood because of the paper color.)

Oddly enough I have a terrible fear things of sharp things that can cut me (Things I do not like: putting away kitchen knives) but when it happens while doing art it doesn't really bother me. I just go 'Damnit now I have to wash my hands so I don't bleed on things'. It is slightly ridiculous what I will do for art.
