And home for another couple days and the realization struck me last night that after talking boosette there are giant amounts of Barbie things in my basement and I should raid them. Since Wooooooo they are free!



I did some preliminary poking (furniture! Oh god so much of it, I want it allllll)

Dolls am definitely taking back so far:
a bb! Tommy doll who is the spitting image of bb!Kirk.
This Becky Doll who is both bendy(though ugh the big flat feet that no shoes fit) and I love her face and Yes, she has a wheelchair and I will be attempting to find it for Pike.
Rosie because I feel I should hang onto her whereabouts as she is literally the only barbie with that body.
Yo-yo Courtney who I *loved* back in the day and is prime for becoming a Colt if I wanted or also a mini-me. Her face is so pretty in person.

I'm in search of This dolly because I want to steal her body for Number One and is the only bendy barbie of the time with pointed feet that will fit One's boots. Incidentally I have her guitar but I have not found *her* yet. EDIT: And now I have found her box doll still mia....

Am having terrible ideas about all the other dolls I could take and make into people(McCoy, Chapel, and Rand are pretty much natch if I want...), we shall see, I may take back an embarrassing amount by the time I'm done.

Also this lot may be relevant to your interests if you don't mind that they're not the bellybutton models; I have issues with the not-bellybutton proportions and sadly cannot bring those bendies home. Still. BENDY! (Because What You Need are obviously bodies to harvest for he heads on the non-bendy dolls.)

There is a giant pink four post bed with lacy curtains and if that makes it it will stay pink for the hilarity. I actually have a decent amount of non pink furniture which is exciting.

Oooohhhh *watches*. I am alright with the non belly buttons even though ohhh the newer proportions are much more acceptable. And yes, neeeeeed bendy bodies. I've found 2 so far but they both have the big flat fleet. I'm on the lookout actually for one of the last dolls I bought as a young thing actually because she was in the first round or so after they redid the proportions. I was SO excited to get her because of it.

The new proportions make me GLEE ALL OVER THE PLACE because, well. NO MOAR SKEWED BODY IMAGE YEY!

I cannot decide whether Bendy or Waist is more important to me. I think Waist is winning out, though.

For the most part I don't mind the not bendy because I really do like the proportion but Pike is Bendy and One is jealous and they don't interlock arms very well otherwise so I WANT HER BENDY. Though her tunic may need another round of adjusting once I swap...

I'm so worried that you will raid all the good Barbie furniture. There is so much, because I didn't care about the dolls as much as I cared about designing awesome houses with 80's pink and neon stuff everywhere.

I don't have too much room for furniture. if it makes you feel any better I'll try to stick to stuff that I know is mine. But yes, we do have and epic amount of good furniture. It's rather impressive.

It is heaps of awesome I will not lie. I'm still amazed that he made it inside in the first place. But between convincing the parents to let me take it and that it would have to live in my not-large bedroom I should probably not. I would like to be able to take boys into my bedroom without them thinking I'm insane.

I knew this. Partly because I text'd jurisenpai that I wanted to buy a Barbie today, and she told me it was okay only if it was a Star Trek Barbie.
